When user types into the timepicker which contains a value it moves cursor to the end on typing first character.
Expectation:
User should be able to type after selection without moving through keyboard arrows or mouse.

After investigating this matter, what I could say is that this behavior has been identified and has already been logged in our GitHub repo here. There are also pending PRs, so the fix will most probably be introduced in the upcoming releases.
In the meantime, here could be found a possible workaround that fulfills your requirement.
