Is it possible to create an org chart entirely in code (without data binding)?

If so, do you have any code samples?

I have been looking into your post and according to the definition of the XamOrgChart it is a data-bound control for rendering organization charts :

Currently there is no built-in functionality to define nodes manually and if you would like exactly this I can log a feather request.
