Using QTP 9.5 with .Net addin and TA 8.2. The app under test uses infragistics 8.2. All was fine for last 1.5 years. Recently I had to reinstall QTP,TA again due to some maintenence. However, Im getting error below. QTP by itself seems to be ok ie recording coordinates but as soon as TA 8.2 is installed, it is not recognising objects. I have tried reinstalling a few times from scratch but I get same error. I had some developers (of the app under test) look at this as well and they think the error is on TA side. Please advise.

Please verify TA configuration by recording and replaying on the TestAdvantage samples that get installed with the product. Do you get the same problem?
Another thing to verify is installing the .NEt Add-in from QTP, do you have this installed after rebuilding your system?

I am trying to troubleshoot a problem we are having when we record actions against the WinUltraGrid in our program.
We have a grid full of data, and we want to filter that dat down to one row using the grid filters.
When we record filtering of the grid we get code like this is generated in HP QTP.

When we playback the recording, HP QTP successfully clicks the correct column filter icon, which drops down the menu, and a filter is highlighted, but it does not appear to actually select (click) the filter. The program locks up, or pauses until I click around and it goes on to try and select the next filter, but again, it does not actually click and apply the filter.
However, no error is actually generated, it thinks it selected the filters, and continues to the next step in the test. However the grid does not filter.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
