 It seems to me that if Infragistics.Documents could support EMF files and/or the full gambit of GDI/GDI+ commands this would make your component incredibly powerfull. 

 A couple of nice options would be:

•  .AddMetaFile()    ---> If this could work with EMF metafiles
• ICanvas.Graphics actually returned a Graphics object that you could use any GDI commands to paint with, or you could draw a control on.
• Ability to render a PrintDocument to your Report object by simply passing the PrintDocument object to a method.

One question:

ICanvas.Graphics returns some sort of Graphics object... what percentage of GDI commands are supported in this object?

    I really couldn't say what percentage. I know it certainly doesn't support all GDI+ commands, but I really haven't delved that deeply into it.
