Hi there, i think the ultracombo has introduced a bug in the last version 9.
When i switch back to a form which had a focused ultracombo , it loses the focus.
scenario:
mdi parent form opens 2 instances of a form1 which has 2 ultracombos, switch from first instance to the second and the focus gets lost.
EDIT: version 7.1 worked ok
Hi,
I tested this out with a small sample project in v7.2 (I don't have v7.1 any more) and it worked fine.
Then I updated the project to v9.1 and it still works fine for me.
I'm attaching my sample project here so you can test it out. If my sample works correctly for you, then something else in your application must be contributing to the problems.
If my sample does not work for, then perhaps you just need to update to the latest service release.
i have tested your sample project and i still have the problem with the focus....
... i missed to say something... i download a service pack last week which solved a problem with the datetimes in the wingrid which caused an invalid datetime exception (problem with the culture).
Maybe this service pack introduced the problem with the focus.
the service pack i downloaded ... service release(9.1.20091.2029) for NetAdvantage for Win Client 2009 Volume 1
just to know if you tested the way i wrote: the problem is when i set the focus on ultracombo2, when i switch between the forms the focus is set on ultracombo1.
Well, there are a few possibilities here.
I maybe be using a newer version than you. You might want to check and see if there is a newer service release available. If not, then perhaps it hasn't been released, yet, in which case you just need to wait for the next one to fix the issue.
Another possibility is that this is somehow related to the operating system. I'm running Windows Vista, myself.
i am testing for diferent versions and i get the same results,
9.1.20091.1000
9.1.20091.2029
