WinForms 9.2 - failed to create Visual Studio Toolbox tab
posted

Hello,

I am using WinForms with Visual Studio 2008 on Windows 7 x64. I have installed and i am working without any issues with WinForms 9.1.

Yesterday I have installed 9.2 and when running the Create Toolbox Tab utility I receive the following error message:

"The product was not found on the system.
A product with the specified parameters was not found on the system or it is not supported in Visual Studio version 9.0. No folders containing assemblies were found.

Products that were unsuccessfully run:

Windows Forms product 9.2 CLR20 was unsuccessfully run with Visual Studio 2008."

Does anyone have any workaround for this?

Today I wanted to add the tools manually to the Toolbox, realized that all Infragistics assemblies had been selected already. When looking through the toolbox I found a tab with NetAdvantage 9.2. I was not sure if the Toolbox Add Utility created it so I looked at the installation of one of my colleagues who just installed NetAdvantage package but didn't run the Toolbox Add Utility and he has the tab including all controls as well. I wonder if the Toolbox Tab is created automatically upon installation know which would be great but why still having the utility????

Would be interesting what others experience?

    Regards, Wolfgang
