I've been developing a prototype for quite a while and up until today had not noticed any issue adding an item to the QAT.
Yesterday, however, I started assigning images to various controls. Today I wanted to see what would display in the QAT if I had an image assigned to a RibbonGroup and attempted to add the RibbonGroup to the QAT. Unfortunately, when I right click the group and choose Add to QAT, nothing happens. When I do it a second time it causes my process to use approximately 50% of my cpu. I see the same behavior attempting to add individual tools instead of entire groups, and I also see the behavior regardless of whether the control is one that I've added an image to.
I'm using Vista, 64 bit. Can any other 64 bit users on the current build confirm that they can still add items to the QAT?
Thanks
I would recommend submitting a project that reproduces the problem to the support group so we can look into why you are experiencing the problem.
After doing more testing, this problem appears to be restricted to my application and only starts happening after attempting to add a ribbon group with a smallimage set to the QAT.
So, has anyone encountered any common pitfalls with adding RibbonGroups to the QAT? My RibbonGroups are dynamically created, but other than that I can't see any difference between them and the one in the sample application I was just able to make work.
