Does anyone have a working sample of multiselect in ultracombo?

All the examples I see are from around 10yrs ago and VS doesn’t like the syntax.

Thx.

    Hello Sean,

Thank you for posting. You can refer to this online help document of version 19.1 for the reference.

I also attached a small working sample of multislect ultracombo build against version 19.1.

Let me know if you have any question.

    Regards,

      Thanks Divya,

I got sidetracked and I'm just getting back to this.  However, the solution seems to be somewhat of a hack in how it works. What I'm really looking for is a list of items with checkboxes and to be able to check multiples. What this solution does is require a SHIFT key, and then they're not even all highlighted, but they're added to the list at the top with a separator.

      That's just weird.

I’m surprised that our samples that install with the product don’t already include a sample of this. Maybe they do and I am just not seeing it for some reason.

But anyway, I whipped up a quick sample for your reference.

Ah… I found it. The sample is called "MultiSelect Combos VB" or "MultiSelect Combos CS". It will already be on your machine if you chose to install the samples when you installed the controls.

It's under the legacy samples. So it will be under a folder something like this:

        …\WinForms\2019.1\Samples\Legacy\Editors\VB\MultiSelect Combos VB\MultiSelect Combos VB\

Frankly, that sample is kinda overcomplicated, though. The one I attached here is a lot simpler. [emoticon:c4563cd7d5574777a71c318021cbbcc8]

        Thanks Mike,

That definitely works.  Q though, does it have to print each item in a list at the top of the combo?  I see multi selects in tons of other apps where that's not the case.
