Coming this Fall: A Sneak Peek at 11.2

Jason Beres [Infragistics] / Wednesday, September 21, 2011

We’ve just passed code complete for 11.2, which is slated to ship the first week of November.  This is a big release with exciting new features and controls across all platforms.  If you are doing HTML5 / jQuery or XAML LOB, you’ll be happy to see our market leading high performance xamDataChart is now re-written for HTML5, and the cross-platform XAML version is now included in the NetAdvantage for Silverlight and NetAdvantage for WPF products.  I think you’ll be pretty amazed at what we’ve done in charting for HTML5, it is full-featured, high-performance and beautiful.

You’ll also see new controls like Calculation Engine (think Windows Forms Calc Manager) in the XAML tools, OLAP axis support in the xamDataChart (that means automatic, no-code necessary, in-place drill-down), CLR4 assemblies for Windows Forms, and a ton of new features in our market leading jQuery HTML5 Grid control.

Below lists what we are planning on shipping - keep in mind that a feature can still get cut from the release if it doesn’t pass quality standards.  If there is something you were expecting but don’t’ see, or if you’d like to see if you can get something in beta form, shoot me an email at jasonb@infragistics.com.  Also, keep an eye on the blogs for samples / demos of new features that we’ll be exercising over the next month.
