CUI-Projec upgrade from VS2012 to VS2015

Hello,

I have a code unit test project in VS2012 and need to upgrade it to VS2015. We own Infragistics from version 12 to 16.

In the VS2012 project (Infragistics 15.1), the Ultra types were used for Infragistics objects. The UIMaps were generated with Ultra-Types (see than the code in designer file).

In the V2015 project, no Ultra-types are used for Infragistics objects, e.g. Instead of UltraUiaEdit, UITestControl is now generated (see than the code in designer file). You can no longer access Ultra-object properties and the data types are not compatible.

Are not Ultra-Types of Infragistics used in UIMaps in VS2015?

Hi,

When you expand your references in the Coded UI Test project do you see Infragistics4.Win.CodedUITest.UIA.VS14.v16.1? What references show up for you there?

No, i have no trial version.

I originally installed Visual Studio 2012 and Visual 2013, and also Infragistics 11, 12, 13, 14, 15 and 16.

Then I installed Visual Studio 2015. In Visual studio 2015 the generation of the map was "flawed". No Ultra objects were generated.

Then I reinstalled Infragistics 15 and 16 (uninstalled, then installed). But still no Ultra objects are generated.

Which versions of Infragistics are compatible with Visual Studio 2015? And vice versa?
Which references or DLLs must be available?

Hi Robert,

There can be a few things that are causing this behavior. First, if you have the trial version then this is expected behavior from our controls. They will not be recognized in the trial version. If this is not the case, it is possible that there are missing references. Did you install VS2015 after you installed our control? If so then try to reinstall it and it should up.
