These suggestions relate particularly to the Winforms Grid and Visual Studio 2008 Help.
Hi Tom,
Don't forget the Indexing issue! This is something that someone could fix completely in a mechanical way. Just make sure that *every* class and member is in the index. Some of the pages have little useful information, but it will still be useful to have them in the index.
I have sent e-mails to the documentation team, and generally have received a reply indicating that the particular text I'm commenting on will be fixed, or already is fixed in the on-line Help. I described this to a friend and their comment was, "You are paying for this?" It's a drop in the bucket experience.
We have used quite a few of the WinForms controls and and have found that the the main documentation problem is with the Grid and associate4d classes. Most everything else we have used seems to be adequately documented.
I think your team could learn a lot by hiring a couple of developers who are unfamiliar with Infragistics, and looking over their shoulders as they flounder around trying to create a non-trivial application using the Ultragrid.

Hi Howard,
Thanks for the feedback. This is something we can look into to see if we can improve the search results. In the meantime, since we do not have a Documentation forum, you can always feel free to submit feedback directly to the Docs team. You can do this by accessing the link at the bottom of any Help topic page.
Here is the email address for your convenience:
