Newsgroups are near to useless...

Hi

I use Outlook Express (and I try Forte) to read the Infragistics newsgroups.
But already most of all groups have items that cannot be downloaded. So I
see a lot of items as unread/unloaded.

And second a lot of messages I can download the headers but not the bodies.
This hang the newsreader. So it is quite impossible to use the newsgroup
with a newsgreader. I do not like the webbased forums. I had much greater
history in my saved newsgroups as in the forums. So I prefer to look and
search in my saved newsgroups.

So please check the your newsgroups whats going on there.

Thanks a lot. I love the yout newsgroups, but today they are useless for me.

    I used to do that, but what I found was that the users had moved to the forums, and newsgroups had become almost entirely about now-irrelevant versions.

    Sometime around 2006, the web controls changed so substantially that, once I upgraded to 2007 versions of Infragistics, I really found nothing useful in the newsgroups.

    Sorry I can't help with your newsreader problem.
