I am using VB.Net 2005. Can i use Infragistics controls on Microsoft reports. (RDLC files)
RDL/C is not really meant to be a container of other controls. However you can create PDF/XPS documents with several of the controls.
This was introduced in version 2007.2 I believe.
I do however use the information in a wingrid to generate dynamic RDL reports but the code is not commercially available. It was not difficult to write but somewhat time consuming. Perhaps 3 weeks of solid research and work. I have seen that perhaps with the release of SQL Server 2008 that an object model likely will be exposed for RDL making that task so much easier.
Search for dynamic RDL and you will see numerous references and some very helpful sites and forums.
Thanks,
Nick
