Upgrading to .Net 3.5 and Infragistics version as well
posted

Currently our team is using .Net 1.1 for websites . We are using Infragistics version 7.1. We are using Visual studio 2003 for websites and are  planning to use V.S 2008 with the upgrade.

What are the procedures we need to follow to upgrade to .Net 3.5 and to upgrade to Infragistics 9.1?

Any info will be very helpful.

Thanks!

    Hello zeeko,

When upgrading .NET versions, Visual Studio should prompt you to upgrade the website when you open it in VS 2008.  This will upgrade it from .NET 1.1 to .NET 3.5.  There should be a message that the website was successfully upgraded.  You can test it if you'd like.  Then save and close the website.

Once the .NET version upgrade is done, you will also have to upgrade the Infragistics version from 7.1 to 9.1.  This help topic and its linked topics should be useful.

Please let me know if you have any other questions about this.
