HI
I upgraded to 7.3 clr 3 from 6.2. All of a sudden I am getting all of thses errors that used to work. The WegGrid properties used to wortk now they are read only???? DisplayLayout.RowSelectorStyleDefault etc. First of all why?????? Second what am I supposed to do. Now I have to waste a LOT OF TIME DOING RESEARCH INTO CHANGING MY APP. I am livid. Absollutley livid. It seems to happen ALL OF THE TIME. I am wondering if it is worth the aggravation to continue using these products. You obvioulsy do not care about the programmer.

It's because of people like you that sometimes some programmers are tempted (i was one of them) by Infragistics. The only problem is that most of them won't be able to reproduce your example. Their application will be full of bug caused by controls that are not working together.
All these people are wasting time and money to get where only a small pack of people can go.
Hmmm didn't realize we were at war?
@remissss hmmm don't even know what to say about that... thats a first... why is the challenge useless?
Michael points out a good point not only would it be useful to not only IG programmers but all programmers alike as there would be no reason why you couldn't just replace the controls with something else so for that reason alone it is a good challenge...
In my opinion, winning a battle is not enough to win the war!!!

booooo boooo, Chris dont listen to him. I for one am very interested in this. I am convinced that IG controls are simply not mature enough to replicate the outlook 2007 application. If you succeed then it would be a great platform for IG promotion. I for one would not have considered Telerik if such an example of IG's power was visible (not the lame stuff on the demo). Just the opposite is also true, if he fails it proves what a lot of people have been saying, which is IG is far behind vendors like Telerik and their controls are simply not as mature.
Plus if released to the IG community it would prove invaluable to its members. I know a lot of developers who have tried or wish to build their apps based on the Outlook theme(common recognised interface great for end user productivity) .
That being said, I am going to pre order the biggest juiciest humble pie around.
