Is there a msha-File available for Infragistics v11.2 for Help-Viewer 2.1 (Visual Studio 2013)?
Hello,
You can download and install the help files by using the Platform installer, and it will be integrated with Visual Studio. You can also download the files from the My Keys and Downloads page on our site. If you need, I can also provide the help installers to you directly.
If you prefer using online help, it is available at http://help.infragistics.com/doc/WinForms/current/CLR4.0/
Please let me know what you choose.
Hello Mike.
Thank you for the information but unfortunatly it did not help. I used the Platform installer to modify the installation by reinstalling help that changed nothing: Help still has not been integrated in Help Viewer 2.1 used by Visual Studio 2013. I find the helpfiles in the Infragistics Program folder and use an external tool (H2Viewer) to show the HXS file but an integration in Visual Studios help would be peferred. For Visual Studio 2013 this needs an MSHA file.
Online help is not an option as on the laptop there is not always a reliable internet connection available.

If you like, I can provide you with the MSHA and associated files. Does this solution work for you? Please let me know and I will upload them to our filesharing site for you.
This would be perfect.
Thank you,Burkhard Exner
I have uploaded the MSHA file to the following location:
https://filetransfer.infragistics.com/public.php?service=files&t=29cece95fb0498978b8566fccd35d84a
This is the help file that will be installed if you run the installer for VS 2010, but it is an MSHA file so it might work. We do not have any VS 2013 help files for 11.2.
Please let me know whether this works for you.
Thank you for your upload but unfortunately it did not work.
I can see the MSHA-File in HelpViewer 2.1 but when I try to add it ("Hinzufügen"), HelpViewer appears to process the file but terminates without message after just a few seconds.
I added other "books" withoutout problems, for instance in the "combit" folder.
Looking into the msha and mshc-files I do not see any basic difference between their help and yours but I am not familiar with the internal structure of helpfiles for Microsoft help 2.

Hi Burkhard,
One thing you could try is to attach the Visual Studio debugger to Help Viewer to see if any exceptions are thrown when the viewer crashes. The following link describes how you can do this:
https://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/3s68z0b3.aspx
This may provide some more insight into why Help Viewer terminates when it loads the MSHA.
