Each time I attempt to create an app in Figma, using the plugin "Indigo.Design Figma Plugin", and with an app designed with the plugin " Microsoft Teams UI Kit", Indigo's app builder plugin never succedes in generating an app. It either returns an "plugin runtime aborted" error, or "generation error". The same happens if I attempt to create an app designed with Microsoft Teams libaries in Figma.
I can however create an app in Figma using Indigos plugin, if the app doesn't contain any Micrisoft Teams UI kit components.
Thank you for the file, I see that the reason is the usage of grid layout. And I've logged an issue about it in our system. There should be no generation error in our future releases for this, but also note that our plugin only supports a few generic components(for example: text and rectangles) and the components from our Indigo.Design library. You can read more about the Figma import story here - https://ko.infragistics.com/products/appbuilder/help/ui-kits/figma
As a workaround now you can remove the grid layout to test the design, but note that may generate as empty, because the plugin doesn't recognize components, it can render.
PS: Also you should use frame on a root level and this will be considered as a view in AppBuilder.

i am using the latest version of Indigo's Design Figma plugin. If the issue is due to the metadata name, how would I go about to fix it? How do I import the external components to Indigo's Deisng UI kit or rename the metadata?
Hello Bob,
If you can provide/upload a design that fails on your side, maybe we can investigate the reasons for it.
There might be different reasons for those errors. For example, not using the latest version of Indigo.Design UI Kit/plugin(https://www.figma.com/@infragistics) or if there layers named metadata in some external components not part of Indigo.Design UI Kit or something else.
