Hello there,
when you deactivate the gridlines in the Excel workbook and set a dark background on the whole sheet, the gridlines are still visible in the Infragistics spreadsheet:
It looks like you are not considering that the grid lines are deactivated when drawing the sheet background into the HTML canvas of the spreadsheet.
Hope you can correct this any time soon!
Thank you and kind regards,
Tony
Hello Tony,
Thank you for confirming that the window scaling seems to affect the gridlines. I have reproduced this.
I believe this to be a bug in the IgxSpreadsheet control, and as such, I have logged it in our internal tracking systems so it can receive attention. I will be linking the development item to a private support case that I have created for you so you can be notified when a fix or other resolution is made to this it. This case has an ID of C-00232720 and the development issue has an ID of 26872. You can access the support case and update it at any time at https://account.infragistics.com/support-cases.
Please let me know if you have any other questions or concerns on this matter.
Hello Andrew,
I think i found the cause of the problem.
I have a 4K screen which is scaled to 150% in the windows settings:
When i change the scale to 100% the gridlines disappear.
Would be nice if you could fix this issue, thank you!
Kind regards,
Here is a screenshot of what I see when loading the Workbook I attached:
This leads me to believe that perhaps this is an environment issue, and perhaps could be a difference in the browser we’re testing in? Can you provide further information on the environment you are testing in?
thank you for you fast response.
When i take your NoGridlinesDark.xlsx and upload it on your demo page https://ko.infragistics.com/products/ignite-ui-angular/angular/components/spreadsheet-overview i get white gridlines:
Can you reproduce this?
I have been investigating into the behavior you are seeing with the gridlines showing with a dark background, but I cannot seem to reproduce this if the loaded Excel sheet has the gridlines turned off. For example, I am attaching the simple Workbook that I have tested this with. When loading this into the sample you are showing in your screenshot, the gridlines do not appear.
Would it be possible for you to please provide the Excel file you are currently trying to load into that sample so I can compare them?
