Hi Team,
Hello Vijeesh,
You should obtain your own Bing maps key, as the one in our samples will eventually expire after X number of uses. There is information on getting this here: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/bingmaps/getting-started/bing-maps-dev-center-help/getting-a-bing-maps-key.
Please let me know if you have any other questions or concerns on this matter.
Thanks Andrew for the info. Just out of interest, do we need to purchase API key for Bing map server or the one in the example can be reused?
The default map imagery for the IgxGeographicMap component shows in this way, and uses imagery from Open Street Maps servers. Unfortunately, there is nothing we can do to control this with that particular imagery type, but we do offer different map imagery in Bing and Esri maps that do show the labels in English. You can read about using these imagery types using the links below:
ESRI: https://ko.infragistics.com/products/ignite-ui-angular/angular/components/geo-map-display-esri-imagery
Bing: https://ko.infragistics.com/products/ignite-ui-angular/angular/components/geo-map-display-bing-imagery
Note that for the Bing maps imagery, you will need to provide an API key as this is required for using the Bing maps server.
