Is there a way to create a grid that has validation on a number of columns but to defer any validation in the grid until a user clicks a button? And when the button is clicked, those columns should highlight a different color showing the offending cells based on the igValidator options that were specified in the grid settings?
Overall, we don't want to stop the user from entering in values. They key in a bunch of information without looking at the screen. If the client stops them they could waste time trying to figure out where they are and retype what they may have missed. So validation needs to be deferred to the end.
How can I accomplish this?
Daniel,
Around the time of release there are blog posts published with what's new in the volume release so you can watch the blogs to see what is being released:

You can also submit and vote on ideas that are important to you using our ideas site. Here you can also see which ideas have been started:

Let me know if you have any questions.
Nope, like the rest of the custom development we've done we'll manage just fine.
Is there a roadmap of upcoming features published so we can plan around them?
Hello,

We don't mind writing custom functionality to achieve this if you can point us in the right direction.
Hi,
After looking into this and doing some research, it has been determined to be a new product idea. I would recommend you to log it at https://ko.infragistics.com/community/ideas, the Product Ideas site allows you to suggest new product features, new functionalities in existing products and controls, and even request new controls and products altogether. Members of the Infragistics Community then vote for the features and suggestions they want to see added to the products, resulting in the most popular features bubbling up to the top.
When planning new releases, our Product Management team will look at the most popular features and use your feedback to prioritize upcoming work.
Kind regards, Petko Zhekov Software Developer
