I was looking into samples and somehow import and straight spreadsheet seemed like read only. Can control be configured so that cell can be edited/updated.
If yoiu point me to the sample that would be great.

The version of the igSpreadsheet released with Ignite UI 17.1 does not support editing. You can execute standard operations like copy/paste, but you can not edit the cells. We are working on this feature for our future release.
