So I tried opening up the sample browser and got a message about "can't start server on port because no application is associated with specified file for this operation ..... try changing port # in Infragistics4.Guidance.Web.Start". I did this, but no matter what it won't open up and simply that there is no application associated with this.
I've tried repairing and running the Infragistics.IgniteUI.SamplesBrowser in VS. Nothing seems to work, any advice?

Does this mean that you are using the SR latest version 17.1.20171.1012?
I am asking because I have installed fresh copy of the IgniteUI_2017.1_Sample.msi installer and everything is running correctly.
Am I missing something? Could you please download the Ignite UI package from your IG profile again and install the product/samples.
