What options can be set in editorOptions collection depends on the editorType for particular column. This editorType can be explicitly set in the Updating columnSettings collection.  If the type of editor Is not set  an editor is created based on the column type. For example, if the column is of a type number the igNumericEditor is used.

Possible editor types are:

• text – An igTextEditor will be created
• mask – An igMaskEditor will be created
• date - An igDateEditor will be created
• datepicker - An igDatePicker will be created
• numeric - An igNumericEditor will be created
• checkbox – An igCheckboxEditor will be created
• currency - An igCurrencyEditor will be created
• percent - An igPercentEditor will be created
• combo – An igCombo editor is created
• rating – An igRating editor is created
