There are numerous bugs in the API documentation which causes the development community to spend hours on trying to implement of what should have been simple functionality.

EDIT should NOT BE APART OF THE EVENT NAME! Until I went to the actual example to see the implementation it showed the correct usage after a few hours of creating isolated sandboxed examples to ensure the code was correctly written. Please update the documentation because without vetted documentation, the developers cannot write code against your API.

Hi Daniel,
This error was fixed in 12.2 documentation which you can find here: http://help.infragistics.com/jQuery/2012.2/
Unfortunately 12.1 documentation is not updated to reflect the fixes.
Are you using 12.1 version of Ignite UI (jQuery) controls. Is there any reason for you to use 12.1 API documentation.
Best regards,Martin Pavlov
