In my other post, I tried to add a checkbox to the header but that doesn't work in a certain version. When I attempt to enable Fixed Columns with the example that was provided in the linked post, I get an error that sorting cannot be done because the current user sort direction is omitted in the sort settings. Adding the value at initialization doesn't work either. There are certain checks that don't check both 'undefined' or 'null' conditions.
I've attached a sample that is pretty bare bones pointing to the latest version of UI controls.
This is currently a bug from our QA team. The linked post is also reported by our development group.

Is there a published roadmap on when some of this functionality will be included so I can give my team better estimates on when to expect this functionality?
The main logic of the Hiding feature is part of the grid’s framework. If you look through the API reference documentation here you can see methods like hideColumn and showColumn. The Hiding feature extends this functionality by providing additional UI, methods and events in order to make it more user friendly. So they are basically the same and both are not supported for now.
Just to clarify, the unsupported integration is the feature hiding. But it also includes base functionality of a hidden coulmn, which is not apart of the Hidden feature. Both instances of hidden are currently unsupported?
I looked at your sample and I saw that you have a hidden column. Currently Column Fixing does not support integration with Hiding and hidden columns. You can find more information about unsupported integrations here: http://help.infragistics.com/doc/jQuery/2013.2/CLR4.0/?page=igGrid_Known_Issues.html . This will be supported in one of our future volume releases.
