In previous versions, I was unable to use the Default Value option when using a Checkbox in a RowEditDialog. Here is the original post:

When I started doing this in 2300, I now receive both a checkbox and a combobox for the same field in the RowEditTemplate. Here is a JsFiddle example of what I'm referring to: http://jsfiddle.net/L2x6b/3/. If you select 'Add new row', the 'Make Flag' field shows up with a checkbox within a combobox.
This issue occurred when I upgraded from 13.2.20132.2055 to 13.2.20132.2300.

I have been researching this matter and the issue seems to be caused by a change in the igGrid functionality for rendering the row editor template for bool columns - a combo editor is now rendered by default for such a type of column. I am currently discussing this with our engineers and will keep you posted of any additional information regarding this matter.
After consulting with our engineers I have logged this behavior in our internal tracking system with a Development ID of 177581The next step will be for a developer to review my investigation and to offer a fix, or other resolution.
