Ignite UI, free or trial?
posted

Hi, I have used Infragistics components for WinForms for many years, now I am new to web development and I want to try Ignite UI in a test ASP.NET MVC Project with Visual Studio 2013 but I am a litle confused. At https://www.nuget.org/packages/IgniteUI.Free Ignite UI is free but at http://ko.infragistics.com/products/jquery it is a trial and then you have to buy it, what piece of code am I missing?

    Hello oktober ,

Thank you for posting in our forum.

The difference between the two packages is that Ignite UI has more controls in the full product that you pay for.

The free version that you can get from Nuget contains only the igGrid component.

Also the free nuget package has been discontinued after version 13.1 so you can’t get the newest version of the controls (at the moment the last version is 14.1) with nuget.

Let me know if you have any questions.

    Best Regards,
