Hi,
There seems to be a bug with Google Chrome 38 (38.0.2125.104 m) and the original version of jsrender.js where the iggrid data are not displayed (loading indicator only).
I have made two jsfiddles showing the issue.
The bug appears with the latest version of jsrender (http://www.jsviews.com/download/jsrender.js) or with the rawgit version of commit 42, the version used by Infragistics (https://rawgit.com/BorisMoore/jsrender/0019219ab3bff553ff388d06db12d27f3e811f6a/jsrender.js).
The bug doesn't appear in http://igniteui.com/js/external/jsrender.js
jsfiddle 1 : using http://igniteui.com/js/external/jsrender.js
link : http://jsfiddle.net/bnesme/7o1ac640/4/
bug : none
jsfiddle 2 : using http://www.jsviews.com/download/jsrender.js or https://rawgit.com/BorisMoore/jsrender/0019219ab3bff553ff388d06db12d27f3e811f6a/jsrender.js
link : http://jsfiddle.net/bnesme/pkdmdshg/4/
bug : iggrid is not displayed under chrome 38
developer console shows :
Uncaught TypeError: Cannot assign to read only property 'root' of <div> <span>name : {{>#view.hlp('toFullName')(Name)}}</span> </div>
The code of http://igniteui.com/js/external/jsrender.js is minified so I didn't find if you modified the original source code and fixed this bug.
Have you modified it ?
Where could i get your unminified jsrender.js ?
Any possibilities to use the latest version of jsRender ?
Regards,
Benoit
