Hi,
Is there an easy way to select all the rows related to a specific group if i click on the group header ?
Thank you
Hello Mark,
Thank you for getting back to us.
This idea is not yet implemented in igGrid.
My suggestion is to check our product ideas site to find whether this idea is submitted. If it is present there you can vote for the idea in order to drag our product managements attention to it. If the idea is not present there I would strongly recommend you to add it following the steps listed in my previous post in this thread.
Please let me know if you have any additional questions regarding this matter.
Hi there,
I was just wondering if selection by group header has been implemented yet, or else if there is a plan to do so soon. I'm working on a solution where this would be extremely useful.
Regards,
Mark.
Hello LawsonQc,
Please let me know if you need any further assistance with this matter.
Thank you for posting in our community.
Currently, we do not provide out of the box way to select all rows of a particular group when GroupBy feature is enabled.
What I can suggest in case that you would like to see this functionality implemented in any of our future versions is submitting a product idea at: http://ideas.infragistics.com
There are many benefits to submitting a product idea:
- Direct communication with our product management team regarding your product idea.
- Notifications whenever new information regarding your idea becomes available.
- Ability to vote on your favorite product ideas to let us know which ones are the most important to you.
- Allow you to shape the future of our products by requesting new controls and features.
Steps to create your idea:
1) Log into the Infragistics Product Idea site.
2) Navigate to the product of your choice(e.g Ignite UI)
3) Add your product idea and be sure to be specific and provide as much details as possible.
The product ideas site puts you in the driver`s seat and allows you to track the progress of your ideas at any time, see how many votes it got, read more comments from other developers in the community and see if someone from the product team has additional questions fro you.
In fact, i've done it with some small jQuery code, but i was wondering if there was a built-in way to do this as it could be a usefull feature.
