Hi, I had some header groups implemented using 18.5.1 and my boss was quite happy with how it looked but this appears to have changed in the newest release. We wanted to use the state saving feature in 18.5.1 but I will have to sacrifice the header group feature in order to use it which puts me in an awkward situation.
When we licensed this grid, we did so under the impression that the grid headers would continue to work as implemented so it's a little bit of a shock to see it has changed.
Is this behaviour intentional? Is there a way to restore the 18.3.1 style column headers while still upgrading to 18.5.1?

Same code in 18.3.1 looks more like this:

Additionally, regarding the following:

What can I say is that this behavior does not seem related to the styling of the IgrColumnGroup but rather to the overall template structure, i.e., the html code that is rendered in the DOM.
Having this in mind, at the moment, there does not seem to be a way to upgrade your application to version 18.5.1 and continue using the IgrColumnGroups the same way as in version 18.3.1.
After our development team has reviewed and examined this matter further, I will update you with any new information. You can also continue to send updates to this thread at any time.
Please let me know if you need any further information.
