I am not sure if this has been reported already but I wanted to identify this as an issue.
If i move the files from my desktop to a shared drive they can open through Indigo just fine; however if i create a new file i cannot save it on the shared drive because it is not available. A work around is to save the file on a local drive and move it after completed.

I'm glad to tell you that in the latest update we've fixed this issue when saving files to shared drives. Hope it helps in your scenario.
