Hello,
I'm trying to have an interaction when the user clicks on the top of a cell in a table to have that entire column highlights. I want this same interaction to happen throughout the table with multiple columns. Is there an easier way to do this than creating a new screen state for each column that the user clicks?
Is this something specific you want to achieve with the Grid/Table control per se? Something like a selected column? For now, what you said is correct. Will need to create a state for each column.

p.s.
On a related not, assuming your table has 10 columns, did you want your users to click on all the column (headers)? Is that something you wish to test with your users/stakeholders? Can you make do with creating selected states for 2-3 cols, and then move on with your prototype story? Or create selected states for only those columns that are part of your user story.
No, in this case I would have the user only select 2 or 3 columns inorder to move the story along. It would be a bit much to have them select all. It would be nice to have the ability of selecting a column header or headers and have it select the entire column but probably not a high priority thing. I doubt I would ever need it again after this prototype.
Thanks for your reply George!

LOL @ "I doubt I would ever need it again after this prototype."
I will make sure to keep this feature in mind, when we start working on the grid. We had planned to add more capabilities to it, but decided to give our users an HTML viewer instead (as a free update) :D. This way your prototypes can be demoed on devices, which we felt was an awesome and desired feature.
I encourage you to post with any prototyping related questions, and we will try our best to help out.
