Well it really depends on your scenario. Unfortunately grids are complex controls that typicaly deal with huge amount of data, so it is not always possible to have ultra fast response in all cases. If you share some details about your setup, maybe we can advise further (maybe we can have some ohter ideas in addition to what I have already posted in the forum link suggested above).

Same goes for application scenarios - which is best for what - it really depends.

 I too am facing the performance issue. I have followed the steps mentioned in the link you have mentioned, but still it is eating up a lot of processor and the memory. Can you please help?
