I am new in Infragistics and I need to know what is a band and the purpose of band in UltraWebGrid. Is there any website that explains the purpose of band and how can we use its properties.

A Band represents a level in the hierarchical display of data. So for example, if you wanted to display a hierarchy of Customers > Orders > OrderDetails, you would have three bands in your grid.
