Having too many Rows degrads performance of tabbing through Grid.

If I have like 8 columns and 1000 rows in a WebGrid Tabbing through cells is much much slower like it takes around 1-2 seconds for just change the cell.

Do anyone has any idea how do I improve performance in this situation?
