UltraWebGrid: Can't get grid lines to appear

Using IG 9.1, I can't get grid lines to appear in a WebGrid control.  I have set WebGrid.DisplayLayout.GridLinesDefault = Infragistics.WebUI.UltraWebGrid.UltraGridLines.Both;

I am also unable to find a property for setting the color of the grid lines.
