Hi,
I am using Infragestic ultra webgrid V7.2 in my application. Its build on a .Net 3.5
There I am adding select-box dynamically to some cells to the grid. It allows to choose the values from the select box if I run the application from any version of IE or Firefox. But not working with Safari atall. So please let me what is the solution for it.
Thanks in advance,
Can anyone help me on it??? Do i need to use some other version of infragistic ultra webgrid to get it done for Safari.. If so which version i should use?
Thanks,
Rashmi
Hello Rashmi,
The UltraWebGrid is not supported in Safari. Please visit the following link to learn more about the supported environments:

The WebDataGrid from our ASP.Net AJAX line of control is supported in Safari. This could be another option to consider. This control was introduced in NetAdvantage 2008 Vol 3. The following links give more idea about this control:

Are you sure that it is not possible to show a select box from Ultrawebgrid when we view it from Safari? Its all fine with IE n FF.
Better i will let you know the exact coding how i did. I am having a UltraWebGris on grid.aspx page. There i have registered a javascript file grid.js From javascript i am accessing the cell of the grid and adding <Select > tag with <Option>. Its also coming like a select box/ dropdown in the cell. But upon click on it its not expanding for Safari only.
Please try the same and let me know if its possible and i have try something else.
Thanks for your valuable reply.

The UltraWebGrid is not supported in Safari and behaves differently than IE and FireFox. This is expected as IE and FireFox are supported browsers. I've created a support request for this and would like to check if there is any possible workaround available for this issue.
Thanks a lot Sarita
