Hello,
Currently, i display 4 scatter charts. Each chart has 5 series. these series have more than 5 000 datapoints. I display the series with databinding.
I tested your recommandation:
1)RefreshEnable = "false",
2)update Series
3)RefreshEnable = "True"(refreshing chart),
(Ref: "Modifying the Underlying Data" in your help documentation)
The displaying is always very slow.Is it normal?, Have you got a solution?
Thank you for your quick reponse.
With that number of datapoints, I expect there to be a delay of several seconds any time a refresh is needed to the chart. Other than using the RefreshEnabled property, I do not have any more optimizations to recommend, other than reducing the number of datapoints to display.
High-performance charts are a high priority for us, and we are working on better solutions for that in the near future. If you have time, please check out our CTP, which includes a new chart control capable of rendering large numbers of datapoints without a significant delay.
