Can't install 2010.1 local help
posted

I'm in the process of moving to a new machine at work, but it looks like my roaming profile is causing issues with the help file installation.

I'm using the NetAdvantage_WebClient_Complete_20101.exe download to install everything but it just says that the help is already installed and doesn't give me the option to do anything else.

If I go into Add/Remove Programs it's listed as installed but trying to uninstall it just gives me an error that it can't find NetAdvantage_Silverlight_20101_Help.msi. I've never seen this file so not sure where it is. (FYI I get the exact same error on the machine where I originally installed everything)

I've also tried the NetAdvantage_Silverlight_20101_Help.exe download but it gives the exact same error.

Is there anyway I can force an install or do a repair or something?

    Hello,

I apologize no one has yet repsonded to this post. Has this issue been resolved yet. If something was corrupted and you still cannot uninstall the older version, you could remove the actual items that are installed, however to remove the item in the Add Programs control panel may require more work.

If this is still a problem, please contact our developer support form and request the instructions for removing the uninstaller entry.
