2009.1 WebGrid performance on IE 8.0

Hi. I need a help.

I used 2009.1 version Webgrid for my website, and it works fine on IE 6.

now my customers start to upgrade their IE to 8.0.

2009.1 version Webgrid is really slow and freeze on IE 8.0, even it just handle

a couple of hundreds row. (Webgrid has to be allowed the edit by users.)

Can I fix it? or if I upgrade the version of Webgrid, which version is the lowest

version which would works fine on IE 8, or is there any fatch for this?

    One more thing. when the webgrid is displayed in IE 8.0

    if I set IE 8 using compatibility Mode it doesn't that slow and no freeze but

    the grid graphic is broken. It should be no broken grid and no slow performance.

    I hope can get fast reply..
