Hi,
I have defined a webmenu with background image for hover over. If I have setup a completely new webmenu with background image, the correct image will be displayed. If I replace the background image of hover over, use VS2010 function of cleaning the old version and rebuild the new and start now the application once more, the browser is still having the old image. Caching issue?
YoursStephan
Hello Duane,
thanks a lot, a very good hint,. This is just what I have changed now within Internet Explorer. But this will only solve the background issue within run time.As already posted in the support area, I still have the background image issue within Design time, that means within Web Application Stylist. This tool is not really displaying the correct background image while hovering over an item ieven if I press "Refresh" within the WebApplStylist, please refer to my support ticket.
Hello Stephan,
For Internet Explorer browser you can Tools, Internet Options, Settings, and then choose "Every time I visit the webpage".
By default the browser caches css files in the client machine. You can also hit Ctrl + F5 so that the css files will always be downloaded from the server and not retrieved from the temporary internet files folder.
Let me know if you have any questions with this matter.
