Hi,
I'm using Infragistics 10.1 for .Net 3.5 UltraWebGrid. When I test my web page in IE8, the performance is much slower than in IE7.
In my program, I loop through 200 records and finish around 17 sec, i.e. about 0.085 sec per record. But in IE 8, I need around 4 min, i.e. about 1.2 sec per record. The difference is really huge.
I think the problem is due to Javascript functions of UltraWebGrid, because I found that the grid.Rows.getRow(i) function alone already consumed 0.5 sec. I believe the getColumnByKey() function will take another 0.5 sec, but I didn't test it yet.
Do you guys have the same problem? Can anyone suggest a solution or workaround? The performance drop is terrible.
Adam
Hi Adam,
It has been a while since your post, however in case you still need assistance with this I would be glad to help.
I am so far unable to replicate such long loading times for the records in UltraWebGrid using IE8. A sample illustrating the matter will be appreciated as it will allow us to examine the issue in more detail.
Please do not hesitate to contact me if you require assistance.
