By default the region between the thumbs is less transparent than the region outside of the thumbs. What is the easiest way to reverse this? I would like the region being selected by the zoombar to be transparent.

Currently the Zoombar doesn’t have special elements for the outside of the thumb areas and we can’t make these areas with different color. But you can submit a feature request for this here:
