I have an older application using ASP.NET 2.0 with Infragistics 2007 vol 3 (so v7.3). Solution works fine under IE7 and IE8, as well as Chrome. Some of my users were recently upgraded to Windows 7 and IE 9, now the WebCombos do not function as expected. The dropdown is rendered, but clicking the dropdown arrow does nothing.
I've read numerous posts about needing to upgrade to at least v10.3; however some people still have problems. Is this the only solution/fix?
Hi Matt,

Please consider this ticket closed. I just upgraded from v7.3 to v11.1 and all works great now. The upgrade wizards you all are providing now are great and did a lot of the work for me. I reference libraries slightly differently in my project than what most people would do, so I had to update those myself. However, the wizard was great and everything works in IE9 now.
Thanks,
-Matt
Hi all,
Thank you for your replies.
Please note that version 7.3 is no longer supported and even IE8 is supported by .NetAdvantage 9.1 and later. The full list of supported environments can be found at:

For what it's worth, installing 10.3.20103.2187 has fixed the problem for me.
I agree with Ajitnayak. I've tried this solution, and while the page says it is rendering in 'IE8' or 'IE7' mode, IE 9 still causes problem with the WebCombo dropdowns. Are there any other solutions, or is the upgrade required?
I'll try to put together a sample page for you, but seriously, all you need to do is drop a WebCombo from v 7.3 on an ASP.NET 2.0 web form, populate it with any data (say an array or list, or datatable), and run the page in IE 9 on Windows 7.
Unfortunately, Microsoft ships Windows 7 SP1 with IE 9 built in, you can only disable it, you can't downgrade it to IE 8. So, this is a significant issue.
