I'm using ver. 10.3 libraries and documentation.
Here's how the Close Method is described:
"Sets the WindowState property to WindowState".
This is not helpful!!!
Is there later documentation that fixes this?
Hello,
We have shipped out a new service release where your issue is resolved. I'd be glad to find out if you had tested it out and if it had met your requirements.
You can download the Service Releases by logging to our web site and going to My IG \My Keys and Downloads.
Hi Stefan,
I went to download the Service Release but am very confused about the Versions. My "Keys and Downloads" page is showing two Service Releases:
1) NetAdvantage for Silverlight Line of Business 2011 Vol.2 [Silverlight 5] - Service Release(Version 20112.2031 released on 07-Mar-2012)
2) NetAdvantage for Silverlight Line of Business 2011 Vol.2 - Service Release(Version 20112.2068 released 25-Jan-2012)
Based on the version number, I think I should install number 2). Based on the release date I think I would install number 1). Which should I install or should both be installed in sequence? If so, which should be installed first?
To complicate matters further, I recall installing a Service Release shortly after 11.2 was released. The version installed on my workstation is currently showing Version 20112.2045. What happened to that SR? And will these later SR's successfully update release 20112.2045?
Thanks,
Joe
The changes will affect the documentation in our next version release (12.1) because it is generated on version releases only, but the information in the intellisense is fixed.
Regarding my first post in this thread and your post which asked whether the new SR resolved my problem:
I downloaded and ran NetAdvantage_Silverlight_20112.2068_SR.exe. So far as I can tell, it didn't update the documentation at all. Am I overlooking a separate documentation installer?
Hello Joe,
Thank you for your feedback. I am glad that you resolved your issue and I believe that other community members may benefit from this as well.
Thanks again.
Thanks. No apology necessary. I should probably be the one apologizing: I just now, after you mentioned it, noticed that the 2031 SR is flagged "[Silverlight 5]".
I think it might have helped if the 2068 SR had been similarly marked with "[Silverlight 4]".
Anyway, I understand now.
Thank you,
I apologize I haven’t been clear enough. There are different service releases for Silverlight 4 and Silverlight 5 and this is why version 20112.2031 has smaller number than the one you have, because 2031 is for Silverlight 5 and the one you have is for Silverlight 4. Also I can say that the latest service release for Silverlight 4 is 2068 and we will no longer provide SR for Silverlight 4, just for Silverlight 5.
Hope this helps you.
