Forgive my naivete. I am a UX Architect with minimal coding skills. I am attempting to prototype UIs using the SL toolkit. In general, I find the XamGrid remarkably easy for a non-programmer to use. Unfortunately export to Excel remains beyond my meager skills. I've found many examples by none that are simple enough for me.
Specifically, I want to bind to a SampleData source in Expression Blend Studio - I don't have access to a copy of VS2010.
Thanks to anyone who can spare the time to help me with this.

Great news! As I'm sure you realize, the easier it is for an IA to prototype the user experience with any given tool, these easier it is to get enterprise to make the investment in that tool.
Hi,
The current export engine, requires you to write manual code to traverse your datasource and build the excel file via code.
So there isn't way you can do this in Blend.
However, in 11.2, which should be getting shipped in about a month or so, we'll be shipping a xamGrid Excel Exporter, which will allow you to export your xamGrid to excel without writing code.
