Hi,
We are using Infragistics UltraWebListbar control (Infragistics4.WebUI.UltraWebListbar.v11.1, Version=11.1.20111.2064) in visual studio 2010. It works fine in IE browser. But ultraweblistbar control does not visible in chrome & safari browsers. Even after settings the property Browser Target="UpLevel" it was not displaying in both browsers.
Please find the attached ultraweblistbar control which is used in our project and help us to resolve these issue.
Is there any detailed guide to to this updrading from 10.3 ?
with the new Ajax controls, we would like to migrate our application, how is the effort or risk to to this.?
thanks.
Doh! You mention WebExplorerBar so I'll check that out.
BTW - how do you edit posts on here?
Thanks, Rob.
Firefox v10 has also broken with the UltraWebListBar. In the blog post you mention above, UltraWebListBar is missing. Which control has replaced it? I only use it one place in my main app so replacing it should be relatively painful.
Also, I did a test install of the latest version (on a temporary VM) and the help page listed the legacy controls and the ones they had been replaced with. I've since zapped that VM but getting the list back would be useful. Is it in the online help?
Hi sphinx,
It has been some time since your post, however in case you still need help I would be glad to assist you.
The UltraWebListBar control is not supported under the Chrome and Safari browsers. Please note that as of version 11.2 the classic ASP.NET controls (including UltraWebListBar) have been retired. I suggest that you consider switching to the new WebExplorerBar control. A detailed list of the retired controls along with their respective AIKIDO Framework replacements can be found at:
