Any idea what is wrong?Thank you for your help.
Same here. Im using 2011.2 reporting.
Hi,
We are trying to diagnose this problem. Do you think you can send us some more details about the report you are trying to make and the system you are running?
For example, it would be useful to have the IGR file with the datasource and the table you generated. If you used a different database than the one used in the documentation samples, could you please give us some details about what DBMS and version you are using?
It would also be very useful to have some more info about your operating system and Reporting installation, such as which version and language of Windows and Visual Studio you are using, the service packs you have installed, and if you have the latest SP for Reporting.
Thanks,
Luis
Hi Luis,
I'm using Visual Studio 2010 Proffessional (ENG) on Windows XP SP3 (Spanish), It happens with reporting 2011.2 either base installation and with NetAdvantage_Reporting_20112.2018_SR installed
We use SQL Server 2008 R2 Express and Standard, but the problem appears even with a blank IGR, just as freshly created.
The error signature is:
AppName: devenv.exe AppVer: 10.0.30319.1 AppStamp:4ba1fab3
ModName: clr.dll ModVer: 4.0.30319.239 ModStamp:4e181a6d
fDebug: 0 Offset: 00088b8d
We tested it in a couple of dev machines with similar configuration and the same results.
Hi CoolDixon,
Do you have the Service Pack 1 for Visual Studio 2010 installed?
No, I tried to install it once and VS stopped debugging my solutions, I had to roll back it. Is it a requirement?
Is there any computer with VS2010 SP1 you could try? Please tell me if the problem persists using a Visual Studio with SP1.
It works great now. Thanks!
Carlos
Hi Carlos,
The last SR for 11.2 fixes this issue. Please let me if you have any other question.
Best,
Leo
Reporting 11.2 SR3 will be released around mid-May. It will include this fix.
Service Release is still not released despite was scheduled for end of March, will it be possible to include this?
Thanks a lot Luis for your prompt reply.
It was an scheduled SR for 2011.2 version on past march that was not yet released. It would be great if you could include the fix on it
Regards,
