Multilanguage support for tooltip
posted

Hi, using drag and drop on a WebDataTree some tooltips are displayed (Insert between, Move To etc...).

Try, for example http://samples.infragistics.com/aspnet/Samples/WebDataTree/Organization/MultiTree/Default.aspx?cn=data-tree&sid=8b2c9419-adf3-4b6f-9b33-97f28ccd745d.

How can we localize these hints?

If there is no way, how can they be hidden ?

    Hello Costanzo,

Thank you for posting in our forum.

Those strings can be localized . You can find detailed explanation on how to localize the WebDataGrid in the following thread:

    http://forums.infragistics.com/forums/t/24594.aspx

The same can be applied to the WebDataTree . You’ll need to download the source code for your version of IG controls and find the following resx file: DataTreeStrings.resx

I’ve checked and made sure that those strings are in it. Once you get the file you just need to follow the steps described in the doc file attached by Olga Kerchentseva in the thread I referred to.

After you complete the steps you’ll have a satellite assembly for a specific language that you’ll have to install in your CAG . Here’s also a forum thread that discusses the layout you’ll need to set up in the Bin folder if you don’t add the satellite assembly in your CAG:

Let me know if you have any questions or if you need further assistance with this issue.
