I created a custom .shp file using adobe Illuistrator, saved it as a .dxf, then converted it to the shapefile with CAD2Shape. I created around 50 shapes. When I view it with a shape view such as MapWindowGIS it shows the shapes perfectly. When I load them into the control it shows the first row, then the second row stretched out, and nothing else.
I am using the trial version of the silverlight control currently. Any idea's on what the issue could be? I attached the .shp files to this post
Por fin!!! It´s works for my problem. My .shp files from guvernamental site was not loading. With this attribute it went ok.
Thanks a lot!
Thank you, this has been resolved.
Hello,
I am just checking if you got this worked out or you still require any assistance or clarification on the matter.

Hello conrad1209,
Excuse me for the late reply, I have been looking into your issue and was able to resolve it thanks to the attachment you have provided. This is caused because the XamMap has the ability to visualize shape files with many different projections and the default setting simply mismatches yours. All you have to do is set the XamMap’s MapProjectionType property to Equirectangular and everything draws as in the shape viewer.
Please let me know if I can be of any further assistance on the matter.
I have tested the shape files in several shapefile viewers and it loads perfectly in all of them. Only in the xamMap does it not load completely.
My silverlight code is extremely simple.
